WSC Annual Snow Sports Sale

The WSC Sale is an annual community event that enables individuals and families to buy or sell snow sports gear at affordable prices. It’s really a sophisticated SWAP SHOP with anything reasonably priced guaranteed to sell!

This is the Ski Club's biggest fundraiser, run entirely by volunteers, every cent made out of the sale is used to help us provide a fun, safe and comfortable environment at the club lodge at Coronet Peak for families of the Whakatipu and beyond.  We depend on your support!

Doors open on Sunday 24th May at 10 AM and the sale runs until 12PM.

We usually have over 2,000 items for sale. The sale will consist of used gear entered by individuals, ex-rental gear, ex-demo gear, manufacturers' run-outs, new gear, new gear but last year's models, special packages put together by local shops for the WSC Sale etc.  Ski field representatives will also be on hand to advise and answer questions.

Set the family up for a great season with quality gear at very reasonable prices. Sell your gear to build a kitty for new season's purchases at Queenstown's retail shops.

Don't be disappointed; this is your best chance to get everything you need for a fun time on the mountains.  Any questions please just email skisale@wsc.co.nz.

Selling Gear?

How to List your Gear for Sale

Click above to fill in an online form to sell your items. This form will close 5pm, Thursday May 21st.

We have reduced our admin fee to $1.00 per item up until the 16th May when that price is raised to $2. Get in quick to save! This administration fee covers our costs for the barcodes & labels.

When entering information please be careful to accurately enter all information - the tags we attach to the gear will be an exact copy of your words and importantly payment will be made to the Bank Account Number listed.

Below is an example of how to list your items :-)  Please keep your descriptions brief - the information needs to be able to fit on a label - use the special notes section for any additional info.

Gear Drop off

Once you have submitted this form, drop off the gear on Saturday the 23rd May between 5 & 6pm at the Queenstown Events Centre. You will see the doors to the right of the main entrance open. Your gear will not be accepted prior to 5pm. Unfortunately, you will not be able to drop off earlier.

Our club members will provide you with your labels for you to attach to your pre-registered gear to display at the sale.
